About

Practical preparation, built from experience.

Rise Austria helps internationally trained nurses prepare for German-speaking healthcare work in Austria through practical, personalised communication training.

Our story

Built by a nurse who understands the pressure of starting again.

Rise Austria was founded by a nurse who moved into German-speaking healthcare and learned how different real shifts feel from language lessons. She knew the clinical work. The hard part was doing it in another language, quickly, in front of others.

Along the way she experienced miscommunication and uncertainty, and also racism and bullying. Those experiences were not the whole story — but they showed her clearly how much practical preparation and respect internationally trained nurses deserve.

Rise Austria exists to give that preparation: realistic, respectful, healthcare-focused practice for the conversations that actually happen.

“You should not have to face every important healthcare conversation alone.”
Rise Austria community of internationally trained nurses

Rise Austria offers educational preparation and support — not legal, immigration, employment, or professional-recognition advice.

What we stand for

Practical before perfect

We practise the sentences you will actually use, not idealised textbook German.

Respect as a baseline

Internationally trained nurses deserve preparation, support, and respect — at work and while learning.

Honest about limits

We are a learning platform. We never promise jobs, visas, recognition, or exam results.
